Keep your blood sugar and hormones in check with these delicious, grain free muffins. Warm right out of the oven with a tiny drizzle of raw organic honey will keep you satisfied for hours and fill your body with wonderful nutrition your body will thank you for!
Ingredients: (please choose organic whenever possible)
Almond Flour (2 cups), 2 eggs, pine nuts, pecans (hand crushed), a handful of blueberries, one small ripe banana, a teaspoon of baking soda, a dash of salt, 1/2 cup of honey crisp applesauce (unsweetened), 3 tablespoons of almond butter (unsweetened), 2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, 2 tablespoons of ghee (clarified butter), one scoop of protein powder (I very much love #Ka’Chava chocolate) but you can use any you enjoy, a drizzle of vanilla extract and 1/2 cup of almond milk.
Set your oven to 350 degrees, mix all the ingredients together and pour into your favorite muffin pan. They will be ready in about 15-20 minutes depending on the consistency you like. Serve warm or let cool, either way these babies are delicious!
